Our company was founded by the Akay family, one of the major players in the textile industry in Belgium. With over thirty years of experience in the sector and a passion for textiles and clothing, the Akay family launched their career in the early 1980s in Turkey, before settling permanently in Brussels in 1990.

Our highly qualified stylists and designers work together to offer a range of true excellence, produced in-house on cutting-edge machines. We have adopted a flexible approach to production in our factory located in the free zone of Catalca in Istanbul (Turkey) and also manufacture in Tanger or Fes (Morocco) to ensure optimal efficiency based on market conditions and trends.

We place great importance on quality starting from the procurement of our raw materials: fabrics, linings, threads, and accessories. Rigorous testing is conducted to meet our customers’ requirements.

With a team of 220 employees and qualified textile manufacturers, our group produces 4.500.000 clothing pieces annually.

Our products are exported to European countries such as France, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, and many others. We prioritize quality by offering 50% knitted products and 50% woven products.

We keep a close eye on global trends, and our team of designers creates around ten new models daily, tailored to the needs of our customers.

By collaborating with the world’s best fabric producers, such as Deveaux, Cote Textiles, Ercea, Sprintex, Parisian importers Le Sentier (France), Kbc, Slianco, Gallus, Set, Gambara, Lisa Group (Italy), as well as Turkish, Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese partners, ID.TEX stands out for its quality.
